Hole in living room ceiling

Maintenance staff does not respond well to emergencies. We had a leaky ceiling in our living room for eight months (Hurricane Fran did some major damage to our living room!) before the maintenance staff finally patched it up the right way (and that was only after our lawyers threatened to take action).

Radio and television noises travel through the walls (not to mention human noises).
