First of all, regarding the J bus: it still comes here. I don't know what that previous review is talking about.
Secondly, it's pretty much your standard apartment complex. The maintenance is very responsive.
They are usually there the day of a complaint, if not the day after. I've never waited longer than one day, and I've been here 3 years.
There are some bugs, but not an extraordinary amount. The apartment is not new, but it is clean and the appliances are in good condition. The buildings are inefficient in terms of heating, and the power bills are really too high. That's the biggest complaint I have had.
Otherwise, the complex is pretty safe and not too noisy despite being predominantly college students and 2 miles from campus. If I weren't moving due to work, I'd continue to live here. It is absolutely a good deal for the price you pay.
