Pretty nice place to live

I've lived here about two years, and this is a pretty nice place to live. The neighbors are nice, the walls are thick enough that you rarely hear what's happening in the next apartment over. The buildings are older but very well maintained, and while I've had some maintenance problems (disposal got weird, the dishwasher had a fuse blow, the toilet broke and some tile fell off the shower) someone has always been over the next day to fix it. They also do the regular maintanace well, regularly- people have come into the apartment to change out the filters and the parking lot has been repaved, for instance. That's been a real change from the last place I lived, that's for sure!. The manager, Valerie, is nice and very professional.
Parking is ample, you've got two supermarkets in three blocks, and you're right on the 15-501 and the 54. It's a great location.
The only real problem I've had here is that if you pay online, they tend to misplace your payment, and you may have to call them and straiten things out. It's happend twice, but then I think very few people pay online, so the office staff isn't used to it, and they were very nice both times it happend.
It's not perfect- the floors aren't level, there are a LOT of dogs in the area (my downstairs neighbors dog barks all the time, but the walls are thick enough that it's a mild annoyance, occasionally, not a huge pain in my ass) so if you're afraid of dogs or don't like them, keep that in mind. The buildings are older, the interior doors are poorly placed (if you leave the closet door open then try to get out of the bathroom through the side door you'll see what I mean) and the kitchens are small, but I definatly think a smaller kitchen is worth knowing that my toilet is going to be fixed the next day if it breaks and that the management isn't going to let a bunch of crackheads and criminals move in next door.
