Overall Poplar place is a great apartment complex. It is a good location, a wooded area, there is a pool, fitness center, tennis court, playground, and laundry room. The only problems we have had have been the fitness room. Although small, it is never busy and a good place to workout close to home. However, it is not well maintained and management is very slow at fixing the equipment when broken. Otherwise it is a good spot and I recommend it.
