I moved to Poplar Place 3 years ago from Virginia, and I must say that it is a wonderful place to live. Even though the management has changed and couple of times and the rent has gone up it is still worth it. The new staff is GREAT! They are always there to assist me when I need them without any hesitation. We also just under went a face lift, it took a while to complete but it looks AWESOME! I feel like I'm in a brand new community now. I would recommend Poplar Place to anyone relocating to this area.

you can always tell when a member of the management is stacking ratings. The same writing style, length and over-enthusiastic platitudes as previous reviews. In addition, residents don't refer to the community they live in with "we," only management do that. And the buildings have just been painted green and they cleaned the stairs, "AWESOME!" is not something I would use to describe it. They never fitted new screens or new appliances, replaced external hardware fittings, they never even washed the windows, they just scraped off the overspray from the painting. Everything else is exactly the same with no improvements. The increase in rent has gone entirely towards paying for one incompetent painting company after another for the past summer. Property inspection and safety concern for the residents is also lacking as well. All the lights in the mail room, and on both the adjacent community buildings have been out for two weeks.

Oh My! How I agree with you! I can honestly say I have never lived anywhere that was "awesome" At all. Nice, Maybe, But definetly NOT Awesome. You know what would be "awesome"? If someone would replace the lights that are out on the property! Someone should also let managemnet know that the staff should not be so inappropriately dressed! Sluts in the office!
