I have lived here almost three years now and have not really had any major problems with anything, even through the change of management. I have found the staff, especially maintenance and Ann in the office, to be friendly, responsive, and organized (Ann doesn't even have to ask my apartment number when I come to pick up packages). Yes, the appliances are a little old, the laminate countertops are peeling a little, and the cabinetry, etc. could be updated, but the place is always clean.
Neighbors and their pets are so-so. I don't have any pets, and neither do the two apartments that immediately sit next to mine, but my next door neighbor has heard the hound dogs in the apartment behind hers on a number of times. Except for the occasional shower running or vacuum, I NEVER hear the neighboring apartments. I also live on the top floor, which I think is a huge advantage. I have seen neighbors walk dogs only on leashes, though the picking up of their waste is inconsistent. Management has tried to handle this by putting up pet waste disposal stations, and recently sent residents a notice saying pets not on leashes and pet waste not picked up will be fined.
98% of the time the washer/dryers do work, and if you go during down time (i.e., not on the weekend or a nice day out), they are available. There is a laundromat across the street, but our facility is cheaper. There was a sign posted about updating the exercise room, which right now has two crappy treadmills, a noisy elliptical, and three measly weight machines, but it's not happened yet.
Finally, the clubhouse and pool are very nice, and you can use it without having to reserve it. I also find the landscaping to be particularly pretty.

you've lived here three years, admit the kitchens need a lot of work and appliances need replacing and have seen the rent go up EVERY YEAR (this year another $70) but are still willing to say that they are doign a good job in the office? Don't you think it's about time they started usign that rent increase to actually make the apartments worth it? I suppose if you camp outside in a tent you are getting value for money because then you can see where they spend all our rent. Nice flowers in front of the office and leaf blowing.
Organized. Yeah right. How many cheap painting contractors do you have to fire and hire before you become disorganized? It must be more than three.

I am the original poster. I do agree that the apartments could be updated and that the rent goes up too much each year (My first year was $690, and in my fourth year of living it is $780).
