My wife (grad student) and I (pilot) have lived here almost 2 years. We love the management & maintenance staff. If something brakes down at 03:00am in the morning, they will come and fix it. (they do ask if they could fix it on a more godly hour and I usually don't call that early).

The area is well maintained and every wednesday the landscape is trimmed and swept clean. The thrash container is emptied on a very timely manner. There is a nice pool and good quality tennis court. There is also a volleyball court within walking distance to all appartments.(this actually belongs to the complex next to Rock Creek, The Villages, but people play here all the time).

I have never used the jacuzzi, but it's a very clean one. The fitness area could use a t.v. instead of a radio.

I do have to say that it is an older building (I believe the 80's) and the insulation isn't great. For our 1 bedroom 670 sq feet appartment our electrical bill averaged $100,- or more. But if you look at the monthly rent this is still cheaper than most places.

The area is extremely safe and rarely anything happens. The staff organizes several get togethers once in a while.

Mostly grad students from UNC so not that much noise. I would suggest to take a top floor appartment since there isn't alot of natural light coming in. Many trees in the area.

I would definitly recommend the place due to it's irreproachable staff. And location. within 2 miles of UNC campus.
