An affordable pleasant place to live

Rock Creek has some ups and some downs. The Downs...When I first moved in my apartment smelled like cigarettes and the apt staff didn't really seem to care. Whoever put the linoleum down in the kitchen and the bathroom did a terrible job and the dust on the AC/Heating unit wasn't cleaned off, it was just painted over and it looks terrible. The utilities are high and sporadic. There are months where I could swear I almost never had the heat on and was never at home and my utility bill is higher than the last month where I was always home and had the heat on. It really doesn't make any sense and I've considered addressing the issue with both Piedmont Electric and Rock Creek. Also, there has been continued construction that has been a mild inconvenience. My major concern is that some of the construction signs are placed in areas that make it dangerous for pedestrians as they block the view of the sidewalk near the entrance of the apartment complex. The ups...The noise is minimal, the rent is great, the pool is decent, the gym is standard for an apt complex, everything has been fixed promptly and correctly, the office staff is nice and helpful, the location isn't bad, the high level of shade helps keep utility costs down in the summer. I plan on renewing my lease provided the cost doesn't increase that much. I would def recommend Rock Creek. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
