I've lived in Rock Creek for over 18 months. Along with other reviewers, I TOTALLY agree that the electrical bill is extremely expensive. I have a one bedroom apartment that never gets warm in the winter. The apartment has terrible natural lighting and aside from the patio doors, there is none.

The staff has changed at least twice during my tenure here and seems to get worse each time. While the maintenance personnel are friendly, it takes forever to get requests to be completed.

Another downside is that the renter is required to pay water/sewer utility. This was not stated when I was looking at this complex. This would have deterred me from signing a lease.

While the proximity of this complex to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus is good, the bus service is getting ridiculously terrible.

Overall, for the price & other related expenses I would not reccommend this complex. There are better places for the money and with the cost of living in this area tremendously expensive, there are much better places.
