Royal Park

Convenient and economical but there are much better places.

I chose University Lake because I was in graduate school and it was cheap. You get exactly what you pay for. Appliances malfunction often but the maintenance staff is timely and their work is pretty good. The gym is not well equipped at all. Undergraduates are not allowed to live at University Lake but young children are; that's a paradox, but it should be considered. It's a convenient location, close to shopping centers and the campus of UNC, but the apartments are tiny. I would definitely look around; for not much more money, more space and a few more amenities are available in nearby complexes.
