Sterling Bluff by far is one of the best apartments I've lived - I'm only moving because I am relocating to another state, but I really wish I didn't have to leave.

The community is mostly grad students, married couples, and working professionals.

The staff is friendly & competent. The office staff is willing to watch your apartment, collect your mail, and even water your plants when you are out of town.

Parking is never an issue - there is always parking available. A free gym membership is a great plus, but there is also a small gym on site.

While I've had a few noise issues with my neighbors, it has been on weekends which I think is forgivable.

Crime is low and although there is some type of community rehab center down the street which attracts some undesirables on the J route, it isn't that bad. If you get the crime stats for Carrboro, this area is safe.

BPW Club stands for Business and Professional Women's Club, which holds meetings for AA and other rehab meetings - their BPW center is further down the road from Sterling Bluff.

In short, I would rent here again. Aside from the typical renters complaints about noise & neighbors, I highly recommend this place.
