This place was renamed last year to "BRIDGES AT CHAPEL HILL" (was Sterling Bluff). I have lived here now for two years and regret leaving next month (May, 2007). The purpose of living here was to allow my doctor fianc her internship at UNC. Quiet and quick public transportation (J bus! :)) was vital. A noisy, PITA community would have directly impacted our progress here, and thankfully that wasn t the case here. It has been one of the best places I have ever lived (Im from Hawai i and used to living beach side in $2K condos, so don t think Im some dumb --- local yokel with no taste). New management came in a bit over a year ago and we all waited for the other shoe to drop. But its been exactly the opposite as they contain rental prices and, somehow, manage to hire a great staff and constantly upgrade the community. Some of my professors live here as well, its a great academic crowd here.
