Since the regular staff had left, the "new way of living at the Villages" has been hell, to say the least.
The staff members are rude, obviously untrained in general customer service, and some maintenance workers' behavior borders on sexually harassing.
Both the check-in and check-out processes were a total nightmare.
The overall safety of the area has much to be desired, as well.
After 4 requests, burned-out lamppost lights were finally replaced.
The police were called by my roommate and myself on two separate occasions to report suspicious behavior within the complex.
Plus, undergrads abound, making the place rather loud, if you're a serious student/professional who prefers a more serene setting.
Overall, I would NOT recommend the Villages to anyone.
