I've lived here since 2/2002 and have been pretty satisfied with the apartment itself, except for the lack of ceiling fans and the kitchen sink that's so small you can't fit more than a few dishes in it before there's no room to wash. What is completely unacceptable is some of the staff and their attitudes. Today, for instance, I RENEWED my lease for another year and went to drop off the paperwork. Did I get a "thank you for renewing"' No. Did I get herded out of the office as if I was a nuisance' Yes. Come on! I'm dropping $9000 to stay here when I could easily find another place, and I get treated like cattle on the way to the slaughterhouse when I renew. And the maintenance staff' Not exactly friendly, save one or two individuals. So much for "Southern hospitality". I've gotten better service out of DMV agents in NJ!

Speaking of DMV... parking your car here is VERY difficult. I live in a building with 16 apartments and only 18 spaces. 1 family has 3 cars. You do the math. And you may not think parking is a big deal until you come home with 10 bags of groceries or some heavy, unwieldy object.

I'm looking forward to being able to move into a house at the end of this term.
