I would have NEVER rented at Brook Arbor.
The ceiling is literally falling down from all the rain coming into the hallway fixture everytime it rains, not to mention water marks on the ceilings of every room.
The appliances are so old and broken more often than working.
The carpet is impossible to keep clean because they are so cheap.
There is no insulation so you hear everything that goes on in your neighbors apartment (dogs barking, sex, sneezing, talking, EVERYTHING).
The management are a bunch of phonies,--------------------------------- ARE THE WORST!!! The are a bunch of hateful gossips who will disrespect you to your face and not give it a second thought.
They put into the lease that you have to have the carpets cleaned before you leave...don't bother they won't give you back your deposit anyway.
I can't say enough about how aweful this place is! I have been renting for many years and have never had an expierence as aweful as this one.
Other poeple have left reviews saying to RUN as fast as you can, seriously do yourself the favor! There are so many better quality, safer, nicer places to live in Cary don't be fooled by the pretty exterior, it's all smoke and mirrors.

I have recently moved out of Brook Arbor as well. I have found that most of the complaints like the one Im responding to are bogus. If people would take the time to read and ask questions then they wouldnt be writing tacky reviews that are in poor taste. The office staff are very clear about what they expect. If they were rude to you its probably because you deserved it. I think its refreshing to deal with a business that doesnt beat around the bush or just tells you what you want to hear. They have always gone out of their way to help me along with many other current and previous residents. Just because you mess up and they stuck to their guns is no reason to bash them or the way they handle their tenants. Perhaps you are also to stupid to remember how many people have lived there for years and love it! The only reason I left is because I bought a house but I still have friends that live there and never plan on leaving.

I moved out of Brook Arbor 5 years ago and experienced the same thing. The girls in the office were phony and fake and rude to your face, when we moved out the carpet was spotless, everything was cleaned, I still got charged a fee for not leaving the place clean, when I did! It's on my credit now and I'm not paying it! The office and outside is gorgeous, but living there was such a hassle. I don't recommend anyone live there. Whoever wrote the comment about the girls in the office going out of their way to help them most likely IS one of them.
