Brook Arbor is a rip off. First of all Brook Arbor has a huge gym that I have rarely seen full, a "hot tub" that has NEVER worked, the amout of parking does not match the amount of tennants who need to park and I was not allowed to bring in my almost new washer and dryer. During the time I was there my air conditioner had to be replaced, my hot water heater busted, the washing machine had to be "fixed" and several weeks before moving out the dryer broke and was not repaired. After living in an apartment for 3 years (out of necessity) I was charged a rediculous amount at move out. Charged for the whole carpet for a few stains and charged for a complete paint job because of a few scatches.

hey where did you live in the complex i was looking at moving in but wanted to know if it was just your unit or not?also how much did they charge you?

I am glad they were fair to you. They have not been fair to me. Yes, the apartment has spent a great deal of money on the gym. The rent helps pay for the up-keep and staff in there. The gym could use less equipment and does EVERY treadmill need a TV? My point is the money could have been spent on something the residents get more use out of.

the gym not being full is the residents laziness and has nothing to do with anything. i transferred within the complex and upgraded to a larger apartment and they were very fair. I had damage but they showed me pictures and i fully understood. they have been great to me during my transition.
