I moved in Hidden Oaks Apartments in June of 2004. Initially the place seemed okay as I was in a rush to get a place due to a new job starting. The place had a muggy odor no matter what you did. It just smelled STALE! There was mold and mildew growing everywhere. The tile in the bathroom was coming up and I was scared to get in the shower. I NEVERRRRRRR! took a tub bath. I called maintenance about several issues and it was never fixed. In the heat of June I had mice coming from everywhere. I had to have mice traps set year round and caught a mouse every week! The place was falling apart and everything from the dishwasher to the refrigerator had an odor. In November I came back home to my side door kicked in and everything from a whole dresser drawer to everything on one side of the closet was stolen. I called maintenance and they just propped the door up for the night and came back the next day and put the same door back up though it was falling apart. Needless to say I got out of that RAT TRAP the next day. This place is terrible and I wouldnt even recommend it to the mice that live there. I tried to act like I liked the place but it got to the point where I could not stand to be there. I have never seen a nastier place in my whole life!
