My family has lived here since June. I was actually warned by an employee of Hidden Oaks that there were problems with the managment/ maintenance before moving in...that should tell you something! I was pretty much disgusted when we moved in. If it were not for the fact that we were only living here temporarily ( couple months) until we could move into our home, I'd be really bummed out. The apt. always smells stale and gross no matter how much you clean- I even have air filters. I believe there is a serious black mold problem that causes us to suffer from respiratory issues...esp. for our 3 year old daughter. That is my biggest concern b/c you can't get to it...it's between the walls and floors. Our carpet was old and dirty when we moved in....TONS of PUBIC hairs covered the carpet and bathroom floor. The showers were so nasty and maintenace did a TERRIBLE job re-caulking the tiles....did not even clean up. I miss taking baths, I would never sit down in the tub! All the drawers come loose and fall off their tracking. The air vents are soooooooo filthy, looks like they have not been cleaned or replaced in a long time (should be every 6 months). Maybe that is why the AC and Heat smell so stale. We had one or two roaches a night for the first month or so...even crawling in our BED...thankk god for our little dog hunting them down. Do not be fooled by the idea that there is a fitness center on site....it is at another shoddy apartment complex down the road and is pretty gross too. The pools are not cleaned well in the summer, didn't hop in once. I'll tell you what I wish I had known before moving here- there is another apartment complex right next to Hidden Oaks (the end of Gregory Rd.) We used their pool and fitness center b/c it was so nice....and the rent seems pretty much the same, maybe a little more. Such a tease to live right next to a nice complex.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA this review is a HUGE joke! You were warned by an EMPLOYEE of this community about issues and yet you STILL moved in?! Well I say SHAME SHAME SHAME on you! You should take some responsibility for not heeding the advice of an EMPLOYEE of the place. WOW you are missing a few floors.

Maybe he felt that it was a unhappy-ex. employee who told him these facts and he just wanted to see for himself... by the way, you sound as if you may be the present manager or whatever...

This is dumbass speaking..., let me clarify my review.....the employee I am speaking of helped us move from a really nasty apartment they put us in...into a less nasty aprtment (after we signed the lease) when we saw where we'd be living on MOVE in day. After she resigned she told us a lot of details about the management and building condition, one of the reasons they left the job for a better one. I bet the first reviewer is one of the low class employees who CURRENTLY works in the office...and that says something about your level of intelligence! only thing i am ashamed of is that I didn't break my lease or sue Hidden Oaks for their black mold problem,
