Doesn't live up to the hype

I agree with the previous poster about The Lodge at Crossroads. I moved in when the complex was brand new, and after a management change after a year, the complex went downhill rapidly.
The overall construction is very poor. You can hear every move your neighbors make -- it sounded like the person living above me was trying out to be an elephant impersonator. I lived in my apartment for three years and by the time I moved out, there were cracks in the plaster on the wall from ceiling to floor, some floor tiles in the bathroom had come unglued, and the AC unit was often on the fritz.
To make matters worse, the office staff was rude and unprofessional. In fact, the only time they were friendly and polite was when I came to hand in my moving notice. Too little too late in my opinion. I was not asked once why I was leaving, and it really didn't seem to affect them in any way.
Perhaps my biggest peeve was the lack of parking. I worked late some nights and when I came home, there weren't any open spots in front of my building nor the building beside it. And while the parking lots are well lighted, it doesn't make a single woman feel safe to walk across the lot by herself at night.
I would not recommend this complex unless location is all you are concerned with.

How about you tell them your displeasure instead of simply living with it?
