Good living space with some minor issues

Been living in the Lodge at Crossroads for about a month and overall I'm relatively happy the place. The apartments themselves are relatively spacious and kept up well. Higher ceilings and crown molding make the space seem a bit upscale. Noise levels are ok but not great, I can hear the neighbors somehow through the walls or air vents during normal conversation. Price for what you get is fine, I'm pretty certain you could spend a lot less but the Lodge is an above-average complex.
The layout and facilities are decent but confusing. Building and street markeings are not obvious, it's a big place and everything looks the same. I actually got lost several times during the first couple of weeks and I can typically get around nearly anywhere without getting lost. The grounds are ok but there are quite a few dogs and I've seen droppings where they shouldn't be. There is only one garbage dumpster for my area and I've seen it's over capacity. I've seen it so full (3 - 4 times in the last month) that bags are left outside the dumpster. Not cool given the price you're paying.
As for people, the staff is polite but I don't find them particularly friendly, I miss the people from my old apartment. And the neighbors are not particularly friendly, not a big deal unless it bothers you. So I'd say that the Lodge is very livable but not an exceptional place.
