Best Apartment I've ever lived in, but too expensive.

The Lodge at Crossroads is a very nice apartment complex, but the price certainly reflects that. It is the best one I've ever lived in. Some of the other reviews I've read are simply laughable. Some of the problems they are complaining about are problems you have in EVERY apartment complex. For example, I notice that many reviewers often talk about how they can, "hear the neighbors using the bathroom." I can hear the people in my parent's house use the bathroom, I've heard the people using the bathroom in EVERY SINGLE apartment complex I've ever lived in. I tend to wonder about these people's expectations going into a complex. I understand that it isn't pleasant hearing someone pee, but is it the end of the world' Are they going to create soundproof bathrooms' Probably not. I've never had problems with loud neighbors, however, I live on the top floor. I recommend getting a third floor apartment if hearing footsteps bothers you.
Okay... now let's just get down to business and I'll list my pro's and cons of the complex.
Pro's:
1. crown molding
2. nice countertops
3. white cabinets in kichen and bathroom with silver knobs
4. big bathtubs
5. walk in closets
6. clean and very little problems upon move-in (nice attention to detail)
7. quiet for an apartment complex
8. more mature residents (no loud college age kids partying it up on the weekend)
9. clubhouse with pool table, shuffle board, and tables (pool table is functioning unlike some of my previous apartment complexes!)
10. 24 hr. fitness center is in working condition
Con's:
1. You have to repeatedly call in to the office to get your maintenance problems taken care of.
2. The office staff comes across pretty snobby
3. Cars speed through the parking lots (look both ways before pulling out!! :)
Hope this helped! :)
