My wife and I had looked at approximately thirty or forty different apartment communities in the Raleigh/Cary area before finding the Marquis at Preston.

The location is really terrific. There is a Lowes grocery store next door, and a large variety of restaurants and businesses within walking distance. It is an ideal commute to Raleigh and Research Triangle Park.

We have a two bedroom unit on the third floor, and we are very happy with it. The kitchen and the patio are the largest of any of the apartment communities we toured. We have a wood fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a garden tub.

The grounds are very well kept. The community has a clubhouse with a nice exercise facility and a pool (with 25m lap lanes) and hot tub area with grills.

The buildings seem to be very well insulated and the heating/cooling systems (electric) are more efficient than our previous experiences. Our electric bills are lower than our previous apartment which was smaller.

The office staff is friendly and are very on top of things. The maintenance team is very responsive and effective at getting any issues quickly resolved.

We are currently at the end of a one year lease, and have already signed another. My wife and I would definitely recommend the Marquis at Preston to anyone looking for a great place to live!
