I left Oak Hollow after living there for 2 and a half years, I moved for reasons too. I was very unhappy when I first moved in and they gutted our deck which I liked and took 6 months to build a sun porch which added only about 200 dollars onto our power bill, only to be admitted by the office staff that they apartments were built a long time ago and that the insulation wasnt what new apartments have, therefor adding our power bill up to an astonishing 230 dollars for one month. Our heat went out about 4 times in the course of us living there, the maintenance people are awesome though, they will come thru every time on everything. We had a problem with bugs, not just any bugs, roaches, from the day that we moved in, that only took about 5 months to get an exterminator out to kill them and spray. Then we got an infestation of fleas from a neighbors dog. It just dosent seem right to have constantly have to have bickered with the office staff who is in one day and out the other, they never stick around. I am still trying to deal with them about money owed to me. Overall I would say if you are in a pinch, do it if you dont mind, loud neighbors, bugs and rude people oh and car break-ins, otherwise, stay away, its just not worth it.
