It's time to go

At the end of my lease this fall, I would have been here for 2 years. This was my first apartment, and while intially excited to find a spacious 1 bdroom (by far one of the biggest you'll find in the area, esp closet space in the Oak), my excitation quickly waned. Paper thin walls don't help when your upstairs neghbor works different hours than you. Lack of adequate cabinet space in the kitchen has been an issue from the beginning. Maintenance can be a crap shoot. I've had both positive and negative experiences. They are quick to respond, but the quality of work leaves much to be desired, esp when dealing with the mold I had after coming back from a long vacation. I found management to show little interest or caring. Pet poop can't be controlled much by the office...as they send resident notices and fine offenders. The apoartments, as stated by others, are poorly insulated and the sun room has become additional storage. After looking around for different apartments I realize how much better it could be. For the amount of space, it's a deal, but you do make compromises for it.
