i've lived here for three years, and while i enjoy the large closets and extra storage on the sunporch, the noise is ridiculous. when i first moved in i had pleasant, friendly (and quiet) neighbors. since then a lot of people in the building have left and the new tennants are all loud and obnoxious, either playing loud music, standing outside yelling in the middle of the night, or letting thier kids ride a bike in the breezeway (imagine what that sounds like!). the management makes little attempt to help with noise complaints and just says to call the police. am I supposed to call the police everyday'!
there are good points here too - the size of the apartment is better than most ive seen and the location is convenient too. management has been quick to respond the two times i've needed maintenence, and fixed the problems correctly. But don't expect to find anywhere to park if you get home ater 5pm.
Bottom line - ive been saving for the last three years and i'm loking forward to buying a house when my lease is up in Oct
