In June 2006, we visited the Stratford and inquired about an apartment. The place looked nice, so we put our name on the waiting list. Then in August, we signed our lease and thought we were ready to move in September. The day of our move, they call us and tell us that our apartment isn't ready. They somehow managed to screw it up - royally! We had no door knobs, no kitchen cabinets, the wrong appliances (we paid for a "remodel"), it hadn't been cleaned, there was sawdust all over the floor, and they had to paint the walls around us. AND NO CONCESSION FOR ALL THE TROUBLE AND MISMANAGEMENT!!! Throughout the year we lived there, the office staff rarely answered the phone or returned our calls, maintenance took over a week to replace a lightbulb in the kitchen, and the place generally went down hill. The other residents let their dog poop all over the yard and sidewalk and were generally unfriendly. One guy would routinely take up two or more parking spots in front of the building to work on his truck - and they let him get away with it constantly. In the year we were there, the office staff completely turned THREE times - and none of them were really worth 2c. Don't even bother - just keep looking.

I agree that the management here is HORRIBLE. They take forever to respond to maintenance requests!!!!! They do not care what happens to you once you move in here, they are only concerned about getting you to move in here. The indoor pool is a joke. It always seems to be cold or full of rowdy teens or drunk adults!
