I truely don't understand why everyone is not happy here' I have lived here since April 2007. I moved into my new apartment on the 1st floor and have been happy since. The first two months were free and then after my year lease was up the RENT WENT DOWN! I never have had a problem with the office staff but I have never had to deal with the manager either. The office is open late so that is cool because you can go play pool until 7. The staff will kick you out after 7, but they have to go home, they do it nicely though! I think the grounds are nice, there was a problem with the trash one time but it was fixed with in a week or so. My water had a bad smell for the first few months, but once more and more people moved into my building it went away. There are bugs and weird things out here, but we are in the woods and the property is BRAND NEW, everything is being built out here, the bugs are normal. AND it is NORTH CAROLINA people, bugs happen!! Parking is OK, there is just enough. I can hear my neighbor sometimes, but isn't that normal' It's not like I can hear him talking to his wife in the bedroom, it is just if he is being loud or watching a the game on Sunday. I broke my toilet seat when I was putting up a new shower rod and the staff came over to fix it that same day. There are dogs here that not everyone picks up after, but that is going to happen everywhere.

What I do not understand is everyone who has made a bad review of this property has pretty much done something and they are mad about it.
the one person who is mad about the move out charges: it happens, you damage it you pay for it.
the person who lived on the 3rd floor: duh! you shouldn't live on the 3rd floor you should have ALWAYS asked for a 1st floor apartment. why is it the leasing agents fault you asked for a 3rd floor'
the person with mold: be happy they let you out of your lease.
the person with bugs: call the office they will come spray the apartment.
the person who didn't pay rent: WOW, yeah really'! you have to pay rent before you can have keys. that is crazy.

I'm wondering if you read my whole review (3rd floor). If you had, that comment would not have been an attack. Maybe we should talk, I have the 2 little dogs that I always walk with their leashes attached. If you live here you will know me. Don't be afraid to stop and say hi. I'll be happy to tell you why I feel the way I do in person. By the way, have you seen mice yet?

and the person with the open wounds, The bad smell that is constant, the claims by Vista that it is Living Green Certified, which as we all know is not true, not to mention environmentaly irresponsible.
