Lived here for about a year and ever since the management changed ..every thing about this place is going from bad to worse.
Very unprofessional/rude/discourteous management people..If every question can be answered by only Linda(manager) then what are the other folks doing there '
People have been having water bill issues.
The moveout list is ridiculous..
Requires professional carpet cleaning (receipt) when moving out- can you believe it '
Never ever go here again..

I recently moved into this apartment complex. I had a very friendly experience with the people in the office. I think that the people who work in the office besides the manager are rental agents so I wouldn't expect them to have all of your answers. That is whey the manager is there. If your concern is WHO answered your questions, then I think you have little to complain about. The requirement to clean the carpet when you move out is something i have never heard of before but not that unreasonable. Surely it is cheaper to have it cleaned yourself than to pay for the cleaning after you have moved out. So far I have had a pleasant experience here and wouldn't necessarily be telling people to stay away based on one or two tenants who had not so good experiences.

However move out requirements are very steep pro-carpet cleaning can be as much as 500 dollars. And if the carpets don't need it you should not waste your hard earned money on something not nessicary. That is an instant turn off to an apartment complex. People in apartments move all the time and move out and moving expenses are enough. Let alone hirign a pro to clean your carpet! when did the mgmt change? I heard it used to be metric I think now its Mid America? Now I saw the Floorplan images and they look like Archstone style ones? was this an archstone or did they just use thier floorplan images? the FP in question is the one on mid america's website

I also live at Waterford Forest and have for about 1 year and a half. The move-out list is way to extensive. Before you move in - check it out. Also the charges on pets are out of control, pet rent, what is that? There is always a note on my door saying someone will be entering my place for some reason. It happens about 7 times a year based on my renting experience. I think that they should stay out of my home that i pay a lot of money for. I believe the new managment is a lot better than the old. The staff now is friendly and helpful. However, the new managment switched water compaines and my bill almost doubled. They now charge 5.95 a month for processing fees and i didnt even want the water switched in the first place. Overall, i would not reccomend Waterford Forest as a place to consider.

All apartments require you to get the carpet professionally cleaned.. and it doesn't cost $500! It only cost like $30/room... let's not be ridiculous people.
