I have a story that is similar to all these other horror stories about the Alta. I have a 3 yr old, housebroken dog and was charged $700 when I moved out to replace the carpet that was "covered in urine stains". We were also charged $400 for water damage from a pipe that broke in our kitchen. Maintenance didn't even know how to turn the water off when we called them for help. We're refusing to pay and they have already turned us over to a collections agency. There's no way we are giving them money for damages they are making up. Don't live here!!!!!
