My neighbor told me about this site and I wanted to check it out. I live at Alta Springs and I really like it here. I was going to give them a good rating but after reading the negative reviews I feel I should comment on move out charges as I too have been a "previous" tenant. I initially moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate. When my roommate graduated, I transferred to a one bedroom. I didn't have any issues with crazy move out charges. I had a couple of stains in my carpet but the maintenance person (a woman!) told me they would come out when they had the carpet cleaned. I guess they did because all I had deducted from my deposit was the last water bill.
I personally don't think it is a problem for management to give a rebuttal. Besides, who is to say that the previous ratings are definately from former or current residents of Alta Springs' Has it ever occurred to anyone that some jealous person from another company could be writing the bad reviews' Just a thought.
I agree with some of the previous good ratings on two points:
1. Don't base your decision on this website and 2. Why are the bad ratings anonymous'
