Used to be better...

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I've lived at Alta Springs for several years now. At the beginning it was great. Slowly things have declined-- the gym AC has been broken for months, including the hottest part of the summer. It's still not fixed. Earlier this year a smoker moved in next door to me and my apartment is as smoky as if I smoked. I go to work and my clothes even smell like cigarette smoke. It's terrible and the office staff seems particularly antagonistic about the issue. Evidently someone posted a negative review of the complex citing the smoke issue and the manager posted a very grumpy letter about not being approached to resolve the issue. Of course after the tone of that letter who would approach them about it' Also, it's a construction issue that doesn't appear to have an easy solution other than moving non-smokers away from the smokers. Frankly, I don't think that I should have to move or that I should be forced to live with someone else's unhealthy habit! The office staff has been much less friendly and helpful since Lara left the staff. Parking is almost always an issue and handicapped spaces are ignored and used just like regular spaces.
