I have lived in Alta for nearly a year and am exceptionally happy here. My maintenance requests have been completed in a timely fashion. This has definitely been the best place I've ever rented from, and it feels like a community. It's a beautiful location and very dog-friendly too.

Most staff is exceptionally kind, although there is one woman who is occasionally rude and curt with people. Recent staff changes have brought less friendly people on board so rather than feeling like a welcome guest when you enter, they treat you like a number (apt. number). If you can get past that, it is truly a fantastic place to live, impeccable grounds, warm and friendly maintenance staff, and some extra amenities such as gym/business center that occasionally work (it's better than nothing). I haven't found anything that I believe even parallels Alta - it's a great place to live! Every place has its minor issues, and this one has the least of anywhere I have ever lived.

THere has been an issue with car break-ins in the area, but I am told by colleagues this is not exclusive to Alta and other complexes have had similar issues. Be smart and don't leave things that look attractive to thieves out in the open. THere are a couple of police officers who live in the apartment complex and they keep a pretty watch out for everyone.
