My husband and I have lived at Alta for the past 2 years. We love it here. Our apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a washer/dryer, which is the best floor plan! It is very quiet and well maintained. Any maintenance requests we have had are fixed right away (and we haven't had many) and the grounds are kept beautiful. The pool is fantastic (except for the new grills they just installed that don't work!). It is also very pet friendly.

Someone wrote on here previously that the sidewalks are crowded because of the popularity. I'm not really sure what their definition of crowded is, but we walk our dog every day and will pass maybe one or two people. Yes, Alta is popular, but the only thing that is "crowded" here is the pool on Saturdays.

The staff do leave a little to be desired, but I think you will probably get that at most large apartment complexes. Laura is excellent, but I think she is leaving soon. The others are okay, but not wonderful by any means.

The excercise room is fine. It meets my needs with a treadmill and weights. Last year, they had a lot of trouble with keeping the treadmills in service, but they haven't had that problem in the past few months that I know of.

We are moving in a month and will definitely miss this place.
