Booker Creek
AVERAGE RATING

I lived here for a year. The apartments are very old and the wiring is odd. They had the weirdest light switches I've ever seen. Like many of the other reviewers have said, the insulation is horrible so you're electricity bill will be high. Especially in the summer because the second floor gets very warm. Also the air vents are on the floor so its tricky to place your furniture for maximum air flow.
The apartments are a very nice size. The fixtures and flooring are very dated. However, it is very quiet and the maintenance staff is nice. The office staff hours are inconvenient and highly irregular. The neighborhood is gorgeous. There is a beautiful walking path along a creek right near the complex.
All in all it was a decent place to live in Chapel Hill and pay cheap rent.
