I have come to the end of my grad schooling at UNC and I will be moving to the North. As I have been browsing reviews for my future home, it has reconfirmed how great this place is.

I have lived here for 3 years and it has always been peaceful, safe, well-kept, and with great neighbors. The staff has always been so sweet to me. There was a brief time when there was an unexpected staff turnover and during that transition there was a little chaos. However, the owner's daughter came over from another property and essentially managed 2 properties at the same time...(so give her a break if it took her a little bit to return phone calls).

What can I say about maintenance....it is great! I have always had my maintenance request honored in a reasonable time (even on the weekends). The maintenance man even went above and beyond the call of duty when I was moving from one apartment to another within the complex. My friends who were helping me move had come, but my friend with the truck had an emergency come up and had to cancel. The maintenance man offered to let me use his truck to move my stuff. The next day while fixing a minor maintenance request he even helped me put up my fireplace mantle and mirror. HE'S GREAT!!!

Finally, the grounds are great! The landscaping is always maintained and many residents put up lovely flowers all over their balcony. In addition, because this complex is nestled in the great Downing Creek neighborhood, you really get a sense of community. I always take morning jogs along the paved trail around the neighborhood. There are always others out jogging, walking their pets, or strolling with their babies. Everyone is always so cordial and friendly.

So....Yes, I would recommend this place....and, No, management did not pay me to write this review!:) I have just had nothing but a pleasant experience here, and I am more reminded of that as I contrast it to my future prospects in the big city.
