I have lived here for 4 years. This complex has recently been sold to a corporation in willmington. There is construction going on, and the workers are rude and construction workers are present 7am-7pm every day of the week. I have a dog, and was told 5 minutes before I went to work that all my windows and doors would be replaced that day even though I asked for advanced notice. The construction workers used my water and electricity even though I have reguarly asked them to stop. Several people who work in the front of the office have left because they have been unhappy, I think the old staff really liked the renters. The best things about this place used to be the location, the price, and the community. The location is still good, the price has gone up SIGNIFICANTLY (almost doubled) with the new management, and the community is definitely changing. I would avoid this place until the construction is done, and even then I suspect the price is to high for what you get. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

The original message is DEFINITELY RIGHT. The complex has been bought and sold many times and half the people in my building have moved out in the past 6 months because they disliked the place so much. I'm sure it's similar in the other buildings. The apartments are incredibly old and nothing works properly, and maintenance requests go ignored. As for the construction, we received letters saying they would only work from 8 to 6, but they start before 7am and often don't stop until almost 8. On top of that, they hired non-English speaking workers who are rude and peer into your windows and hang out by your door as they take their many breaks. In short, they're slumlords and unless they start treating their tenants with respect, they're going to continue losing tenants.
