When I moved here a year and a half ago I was pretty pleased with the apartment. Even though I was on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building I rarely heard my neighbors. When there was a problem with a resident in the building who thought everyone needed to hear his music, the management took care of it right away. I felt safe walking to my mailbox after dark and was always able to find a parking spot. However....recently the management has decided to make them into condos so there has been a ton of construction. First it started with the roof Monday - Saturday, 6 am to 6 pm and it still took them forever to get finished. Also the construction workers (none of whom are legal residents of the US) would whistle and catcall every time I left my apartment. They smoked in the stairwells making the whole building stink. Now they are redoing the insides of several apartments in my building and that's when things got really bad. I fell asleep on the couch one night and woke up the next morning to see some hispanic guy unlocking my front door and coming in. When he saw I was awake, he left. A few weeks later some white dude was trying to get in with a key and when it wouldn't open, proceeded to use a credit card to try to jimmy the lock. I freaked out and called management. Apparently this guy works for them and was supposed to be at another apartment. Any complex that hires maintenance people who get in by a credit card seem awfully shady to me. In recent weeks I have found items in my apartment moved and the spare tire for my car disappeared. Don't be fooled, look elsewhere. And for God's sake don't spend $200,000 to BUY one of these.

UPDATE: NOTE TO ALL RESIDENTS. IF YOU POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW HERE YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF YOUR APARTMENT BY THE END OF THE MONTH. THREE DAYS AFTER I ORIGINALLY POSTED THIS REVIEW I WAS TOLD TO BE OUT BY 3/31 AND AFTER REPEATED PHONE CALLS TO MANAGEMENT STILL HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN A REASON WHY. FUNNY HOW THAT HAPPENED ONLY AFTER THEY GOT ANOTHER NEGATIVE REVIEW.
