It is very nice to have one bill to pay each month, but practically speaking, you can live in a place that's just as nice if not nicer and pay for utilities and even rent furniture for less than what they charge you. Their subletting policy is absolutely ridiculous, which unfortunately I only figured out after I had renewed my lease (the $200 is explained in the lease, but they don't tell you that they charge your subletter a $130 application fee on top of that!). Parking is a nightmare as well, and if you like to have guests over, I hope they don't mind walking. It is also very loud - I have been awoken many times by screaming fights outside my window. Also, if you have Verizon wireless, reception is minimal.
