Don't even think about it

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Everything was fine at move-in (of course), but it only got worse from there. After months of the internet going out, maintenance coming by randomly for inspections, my pillow vibrating at night, and dealing with an immature, rude staff, it was finally time to move out. After moving in on August 12th of 2006 and having to move out July 31st 2007, I was very happy to leave. But, I had a problem. I couldn't move into my new place until August 1st, so I was trying my best to stick around as long as I could, while being sure not to miss the deadline for noon on the 31st of July. After doing everything I could to get out on time, get it cleaned up, and set my stuff outside (having nowhere else to put it), I went to the office to turn in my keys and 2 other keys from my roommates who had moved out about a month earlier. Unfortunately, I was not done until 12:35, so they threatened to charge me and my roommates $100 each for staying a day extra. I was 35 minutes late, and they wouldn't even talk to me about it. After having to deal with that, I then got a bill in the mail, $25 for trash and $140 for a new mattress. There was a stain about 2 inches in diameter that they felt signicant enought to replace the mattress, which obvously it wasn't since I didn't even report it on my move in room condition form. All these people want is money. They do not care who you are or what you're feeling whatsoever. The only convenient thing about the apartment is the monthly rate including utilities. Besides that, this place absolutely sucks, and I recommend you not living there to save a lot of stress and anger.
