Cons:
(1) Management completely incompetent and disrespectful. There is no one to take ownership of problems and get things done.
(2) Apts. flood every 3-6 months. Air Conditioning units & water heaters are always breaking. Plus the water pipes are made from Polybutylene pipes which have terrible leaking problems, meaning the plumbing of the entire complex needs re-hauled. (http://www.propex.com/C_f_env_polybu.htm).
(3) Maintenance takes after management. They can't fix anything. Rarely respond unless it's an emergency and then they never know what to do. They don't fix, they cover up or uninstall, for example, they paint over water damaged walls, and caulk over mildew in the bathroom.
(4) Inflexible rent contracts.
(5) Parking is bad during the semester, fine in the summer.
(6) LOTS of water damage that is never fixed properly, resulting in uneven ceilings, mold underneath sinks, along the mouldings on the wall, underneath tile in the bathrooms, etc. It looks okay on the outside, but then you realize they've just covered stuff up.
(7) When someone DOES come to fix something, it's usually hired outside help that does not speak English, making it very difficult to communicate what needs done and you never know WHEN they will arrive or WHO to expect.
(8) And, the phone tree makes it darn near impossible to get through, so don't count on talking to anyone.

Pros:
1-There is a park across the street, although sometimes a little scary.
2-Bus line is fairly handy.
