This was a nice place to live when it was Brookstone, but the new management is terrible. The office assistants are generally pleasant, but the managers seem offended if you dare to come in with a question or concern. It took months (and multiple calls, and finally begging) to get my air conditioner fixed properly - maintenence would come, change the air filter, it would break within two days, and then the entire thing would be repeated.

The apartments themselves are nothing special, (especially for the price) and could use an overhaul (cracked linoleum and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, very old blinds, water stains in the ceiling etc.) Parking has also become much more difficult in recent months as more and more students have moved in. I don't have anything against undergrads, but pretty soon this place will be another off-campus dorm and that's just not what I'm looking for. I've lived here for years and liked it, but thanks to the new ownership I won't be renewing my lease. (And thanks to the completely inflexible August to August only leasing structure, I'll have to stay here through the summer...)
