I moved into Chapel View in the beginning of Aug 07...I renewed my lease to stay there again next year and here is why:
I love this place! The atmosphere is great. The office staff is wonderful, they always speak and great you with a smile or a wave. The locations of the Apartments are great. They are located near campus, Harris Teeter, Banks, A movie theater, and many other places that people like to visit. The apartment complex is not noisy and studying can easily be done. Let's not forget the included amenities!!! The apartment has a washer and dryer, dishwasher and a microwave. You can even get a furnished apartment which includes a sofa, love seat, coffee table, end table, dinning room table (with four chairs). *NOTE this is the furniture available in a two bedroom apartment, you can get a one bedroom apartment furnished as well it will just be slightly different* You can even choose the color of the accent wall in your living room (my roomie and I chose blue, it goes great with the sofa!!!). OH and a huge plus...every room has its own bathroom!!! That's right no more having to share your space with your roommate. Your water bill, electric bill, and cable bill one channel of HBO (including high speed internet) are all included in your rent. Trust me you can't beat this. I went apartment looking with my friend just yesterday (June 2nd)...and trust me when I say you can not find any place like Chapel View (except maybe the Ridge)...two great options. I am sad to report that my friend hastily signed a lease at another apartment complex that she will probably end up regretting. Don't get my wrong the place looks beautiful but are her amenities included....NOPE! She has to pay her own water bill, electric bill, cable bill! Trust me these add up big!. I hope I have not forgotten to mention anything....this place is just wonderful....just wonderful. Oh yeah I almost forgot there is a fitness center, pool, and free use of the tanning bed for those interested.
