Apartmentguide is really helpful ...now the review:

After checking about 21 different apartment complexes (there are a lot down here), we got to Summit Hill and haven?t been disappointed so far (living here a month).

The footage/rental price quota is superb (you can try to bargain a little =)) and the maintenance staff is okay - they fixed all of our complaints (and those weren?t many) the next day ...

Someone wrote something about a smell - well, that is called a water treatment plant and it really is not that bad - you will not smell it inside and only a tiny bit outside, but it really could be worse ...

The complex looks new, so do the apartments - (2 pools !) (2 laundries !) and a good fitness facility .... every month a party for everyone ... very nice people around - a mix of students, families and single professionals...

Our apartment is 819 square feet big, very very bright, although not on the sunside .... big bathroom, lots of storage there and in the kitchen, big walk-in closet ...

Summit Hill is VERY convenient right off the highway ..... you don?t hear the highway in your apartment, but you can outside .... but you get used to it .... (i lived in a big city before and that was way worse)

A word on crime: it feels very safe here - we are far away enough from the city of durham ... this property is not fenced, but i don?t think it needs to be... very light at night and always someone around ...

Anything else ' - i don?t think so ..... if we ever have something bad happen to us here we?ll post it .... we saw lots of apartments and made a really good deal here ...
