Looks nice at first, gets worse with time

At first, I thought Summit Hill offered a great location (moderately convenient to both Chapel Hill and RTP/Raleigh), and good staff for a good value. With time, however, I learned why things are so cheap. The staff changes constantly, so it's hard to get to know any of them. The maintenance crew responds quickly, but rarely fixes the actual problem you have. The buildings show several signs of being hasitly constructed (uneven doors, doors that lock poorly, bad caulking, etc). There is a waste treatment plant nearby, so from time to time the air smells absolutely awful. There are reports of cars being broken into every several months. "Gym" is a joke. Appliances are poor. The oven heats too quickly, the burners heat unevenly, and the freezer is prone to freezer burn.
I have lived in two other Summit complexes (in another city) prior to this one, but this experience leads me to believe that this one will be my last.
