The complex is now known as Farrington Lake. The management is a bit shady and very unorganized. I would recommend getting everything signed and dated by management when discussing matters such as pricing and application fees. When I turned in my application, one of the people at the office said that I had to pay an application fee despite having a sheet which stated that since I was a UNC student, they would waive the fee. The woman claimed that this only applied to UNC staff & faculty, which was a complete lie as I knew other students who had turned in their application earlier and did not have to pay a fee.
There is an odor from the water treatment plant, but depending on the location of your complex it may not be that bad.
Parking is currently limited as there is ongoing construction on the buildings, which begins at 8 am and ends around 7 pm. As a result, its rather difficult to sleep in past 8 am.
Maintenance responds in a timely manner. I've had a few problems with my bathroom but all problems have been resolved within a day.
