Hmmm...never smelled anything while I was there. I thought the apartments were well made, sturdy. We lived on the bottom floor, and I never heard the people walking above us. I think that's saying a lot for an apartment complex. It was pretty quiet for a complex that houses a lot of students. The reason being because of its distance from campus. That was the biggest negative as a student: having to drive to a parking lot in order to ride the bus to school. It got old. Although I never had a problem with the office staff, my roommate said she also thought they were rude and inattentive. The floorplan for the three bedroom was very nice a spacious. Two out of three bedrooms had nice walk-in closets.
