My boyfriend and I have lived at Foxcroft for 1.5 years. We started renting as poor students and the rent is definitely one of the lowest in the Chapel Hill area. More importantly, it's a very safe neighborhood. We always see kids playing in the basketball courts and around the parking lot. It seems like a lot of families live here. It's always really quiet and no one leaves trash outside the door or anything like that. Also, the landscaping is really nice with a lot of trees which is one of the things that initially attracted us to the place.

One of the best things about Foxcroft is how low our electric bill has been. We've seldom had to pay more than $50 except in the very coldest winter months.

The inside of the apartments aren't great -- the bathroom is kind of old and the kitchen cabinets are pretty bad. The gym is a joke and the pool isn't great either. But for someone looking for a cheap place to live in a nice neighborhood (something that is very difficult to find in the triangle area), foxcroft really can't be beat.
