Okay, so I've been reading some of the reviews on this site and I am appalled at some people's alleged "bad experiences" with this property. Perhaps some just have an unreasonable bone to pick...

I've lived here for almost two years and couldn't be more pleased. The professionalism of the staff and maintenance crew, the location, the grounds, and my own actual apartment are far better than any of the previous places I've lived (in the Triangle). My little cottage is gorgeous! It's bright (there are windows everywhere!), cheery, and the hardwood floors are awesome. It's just like a little house! There's a front door with a front porch and a back porch too (great for sitting out on and reading when it's nice out).

I have never once seen a bug, nor have I observed ANY mold growing anywhere--but perhaps that's because I'm a very neat and clean person.

Yes, these apartments are older--but they've got character, charm, and are terribly comfortable (at least mine is). And you must keep in mind that no place is perfect... maybe the floors do creak a bit in certain places--but HELLO it's a 50 year old apartment! I do wish I had a dishwasher--but I could've gotten a different apartment with a dishwasher if I'd really really wanted it--and I'm probably saving on my electric bill w/out one. On and on that note--I have NEVER gotten a gas or electric bill that seemed excessively high. Not even in the dead of winter!

As a single female, living alone--I have never felt like my safety has been compromised in any way in this community. The streets are well lit, my neighbors are friendly and watchful, and there's always parking right outside my front door.

The staff is great about letting you know about news w/in the community. Yes, there have been a few car break-ins during my stay--but unfortunately crime can happen anywhere. It sure as heck isn't the apartment community's fault.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an attentive office staff, a maintenance staff that knows what they're doing, and a truly unique and comfortable apartment.
