I've lived in Laurel Ridge since June 02, and although its not the best place in the world, it sure it a lot better than what these reviews are giving it. After spending 4 years living in slum apartments in Pittsburgh, let me tell you, this place is a bargain!! Lots of square footage, excellent staff who respond quickly to your request, and really cheap rent. They're replaced the windows and patio doors, and have further plans of improving the interior, and you can walk to Franklin St. If you can negotiate a good deal with the rent, it is very much worth staying here.

pharmdan, After living in the Pittsburg slums this is a step up. I agree. But for the rest of us who come from nice homes with low crime, few pest problems and relatively few other problems, I do not think "whining" is the correct term. Maybe I'm incorrect to think that questioning whether my bike, car or apartment will be gone, stolen, or broken into is a priority when chosing a place to live. So beware of where you chose to live is all I'm saying, I wish I had.
