Not as bad as the other folks say

I've read the bad reviews and I am shocked. My experience at Laurel Ridge has been very different. I had to move in during a month were they were running a promotional deal because I got flooded out of my last apartment (Kingswood---across the street---talk about a bad apartment---that's the place you shouldn't move into). The staff was very helpful in finding a suitable place for me. My rent was reasonable--Only $100 dollars more than Kingswood, which is a rathole).
I've only had to problems here. One problem I have had are with the bugs (spiders, ants, crickets)---but come on people, we do live in a wooded area. What do you expect' By you a can of raid and you will survive. Whenever I contacted the staff about a bug problem, they instantly took care of it. That is just the sort of thing you have to do every few months when you live in a wooded area. Besides, I don't even have to call now because the staff takes it upon themselves to schedule pest termination. My other problem was with the parking, but you find ways to deal with that too. Some folks have taken to parking on the curb. It's only a problem when you come home late at night. I just thought of one more problem... the laundry facilities sort of suck, but when you learn which machines work the best, you are all set. Plus, I do most of my laundry at laundry mat.
I think this apartment complex is a good one. I am used to living in more luxurious places, but for the price, I get so much more square footage here than anywhere else, plus I am close to campus.
